His innovative approach towards both hair artistry and salon leadership has placed him among the industry’s finest.

Spotlight: Modern Salon Magazine titled Tom “The Makeover King” in regards to holding the record for the most makeovers in Modern Salon history! His incredibly transformative work has been featured everywhere from major style and trade publications to nationally televised talk shows and the E Channel’s Fashion Network. His European travels in the untiring pursuit of advanced education have brought him to many exciting destinations including Berlin, Germany for international hair extravaganza “Hair World.”

Throughout his career, Tom has also had the opportunity to partner with industry powerhouses like John Casablanca of Elite Model Agency and Angus Mitchell himself (son of the fashion visionary and company co-founder Paul Mitchell). As Artistic Director for John Paul Mitchell Systems New Jersey, Tom has been actively associated with the brand for decades. He has long since achieved the title of Master Associate, the top level of recognition within the Paul Mitchell organization. He was also among the top stylists in the country to participate as a platform artist at “The Gathering”, a highly elite annual event. Putting forth a true representation of passion for the craft, the Panico name, and the Paul Mitchell brand, Tom is a perfect example of how Panico Salon & Spa and its dedicated staff have emerged as pioneers in the field by cultivating industry involvement and brand relationships with international excellence.

Something Extra: Following suit with Panico’s longstanding tradition, Tom enjoys giving back to the community. Most recently, he donated his time and talent to the inaugural Fashion & Beauty Week which benefited Breast Cancer Awareness and Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey in 2010 and The Diabetes Research Institute in 2011. He also played a crucial role in the show as Backstage Director and Team Lead.
