I have been
with Panico Salon & Spa for 10 years. As a Director I am
responsible to educate myself with the current hairstyles and
makeup trends. I also educate my clients in the current styles
and the proper use of products, makeup, and maintenance of their
look.
I am the
salon representative for Aveda Hair Products. It is my
responsibility to promote the Aveda line and the Aveda
hairstyling philosophy. It has been my privilege in joining

charities. I have participated in special benefit shows for
local and non-profit groups, engaged in raising funds from
educational scholarships to cancer research.

Prior to
joining the Panico team, I acquired varied and invaluable
experience as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and in salon
management and operations.
Upon
completion of my cosmetology studies, I served a two year
apprenticeship at an upscale salon, and then worked as a general
manager for one of the largest chain salons in the country. My
managerial responsibilities included working with the CEO of the
New Jersey division opening functioning salon systems. I
directed salon production, hiring, strategic planning, financial
analyses of inventories, and education.
I was the
under-study makeup artist for the “Joe Franklin Show,” worked as
a makeup artist for Don Johnson of “Miami Vice,” and also did
makeup for Mako Productions, whose films included “Creature from
the Black Lagoon”, “Jaws,” “Jaws 2,” and “Jaws 3.”
My 10 years
as a makeup artist and hairstylist at the Cover Girl Studio in
River Edge, N.J., afforded me a unique experience to add to my
multi-faceted portfolio. I was responsible for the models’,
photographic makeup, hairstyling, and wardrobe coordination, as
featured on covers of national magazines and professional
portfolios.
I also
served under fashion designer, Rhaj Sing, of Ultra Pink
in various fashion shows featured at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel,
the W Hotel, and the Jacob Javitz Center of NYC. |
